Virginie Raphael
Founder, FullCircle Fund
Virginie Raphael is the Founder and Managing Partner of FullCircle, a perpetual pre-seed venture fund investing in the infrastructure, platforms, and people shaping a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous workforce. Since 2021, FullCircle has backed founders at the earliest stages with up to $250K in funding, while helping them build everything from pitch narratives to syndicate strategy. Before founding FullCircle, Virginie spent eight years at Tusk Ventures, where she helped scale the firm and played a key role in its $70M second fundraise, portfolio development, and founder services.
Her career spans investment banking at Barclays, venture advisory at 500 Startups, and a seven-year stint as co-founder and CEO of Kronos Archives, a storytelling and archival firm serving leaders in finance, politics, and philanthropy. She’s currently an executive board member at La French Tech New York and holds degrees in finance and international policy. Virginie’s approach to venture is hands-on, founder-centric, and future-facing – always with an eye toward systems change, economic resilience, and long-term impact. In addition to her work as an investor, Virginie created Work in Progress, a pop-up event series designed to bring diverse communities together to tackle some of the thorniest challenges facing the modern world. The series will make a special appearance at Responsive Conference this year, offering attendees another space for intentional, solutions-driven conversation.
Funders’ Fishbowl
At Responsive Conference, Virginie brings a sharp lens to conversations about the future of work and the evolving role of founders in reshaping the workforce. Known for blending strategic clarity with deep empathy, she’ll join Eric Bahn and Danielle Strachman to host a live, rotating-seat roundtable that invites attendees into the conversation. Expect thoughtful debate, smart frameworks, and real talk about what it means to build in a world that’s constantly shifting.
