AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

Responsive Conference happens within unusual venues. This year, the conference takes place at the Oakland Museum of California — OMCA.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF CONVERSATION ABOUT WORK

Responsive Conference isn’t a typical sit-and-absorb conference. Join us for a unique, interactive experience with a variety of experimental formats.

The Oakland Museum of California inspires us to create a more vibrant future.

OMCA explores the big ideas that shape California lives, then bring to life the untold and under-told stories of the people behind them—all with a distinctly Oakland point of view.

It is more than a museum. It ss a museum, garden, and gathering place. Their mission is to inspire understanding and empathy with stories and experiences of California’s art, history, and natural environment to build more equitable and connected communities.

With more than 1.9 million objects, OMCA brings together their multidisciplinary collections of art, history, and natural science, all within 110,000 square feet of gallery space and seven-acre campus.

OMCA is a leading cultural institution of the Bay Area and a resource for the research and understanding of California’s dynamic cultural and environmental heritage for visitors from the region, the state, and around the world.
